Firefox 3.5 available for download

Firefox 3.5 is the latest and greatest browser available from Mozilla starting today. I’m sure many of you are already very familiar with Firefox, but this new version adds quite a few enhancements that will make the download worthwhile.

Some main features included in Firefox 3.5 are:

  • Faster performance (new TraceMonkey JavaScript engine - check out our roadmap #8)
  • Security enhancements (private browsing, improved anti-phising and anti-malware)
  • Over 6,000 browser add-ons to customize Firefox for what you need

Apple Releases Safari 4

Apple has released the final version of Safari 4. It is available for free download for Mac and PC on their website. Some of the cooler features of Safari 4 include the Nitro engine (way faster JavaScript perfomance), top sites (at a glance preview of your most visited sites), cover flow, full history search, native windows look and feel, and powerful developer tools.
